Stay up to date with broker continuing education courses

Staying informed about the latest trends, regulations and best practices in insurance is essential to providing the best service to your clients. You also need to meet state requirements for keeping your license. That's why Delta Dental is offering continuing education (CE) courses tailored specifically for brokers.

Our upcoming course, "Dental Benefits: The Now & The Future," will explore trends in dental benefits and their impact on the industry. Why do you need to attend? Let’s find out.

What are continuing education courses for health insurance brokers?

As you probably know, continuing education courses are classes required by your state to maintain your insurance broker license. These courses cover a wide range of topics crucial for your professional development, including health and wellness, industry updates and future trends. Whether you're looking to broaden your knowledge base or stay up to date with the latest industry standards, CE courses provide the tools to thrive in your career.

Broker CE requirements

Typically, health insurance brokers are required to complete 24 hours of CE training every two years to maintain their license. Guidelines vary from state to state, including the required topics covered in continuing education courses. Make sure to check your state's most up-to-date course requirements before enrolling to ensure that your selected course will be credited.

CE courses are offered through your state's approved broker education providers and can be taken in various formats, including in-person, webinar, or self-paced online study. Self-paced courses may require you to pass an exam for credit.
