For federal civilian employees, annuitants, military retirees or their eligible family members
This program addresses the needs of employees and retirees of OCC and Office of Financial Research employees. Choose between two quality, cost-effective dental plan options.
If you’re an FHFA employee, you can receive excellent dental benefits through Delta Dental. You’ll also have access to a vast network of providers focused on your oral health.
For providers only: The Community Care Network (CCN) provides Veterans with VA-approved dental care at dentist offices in their communities.
Federal employee dental plans are available to federal employees, such as postal employees and federal agency personnel. FEDVIP plans are available for current and retired federal employees and their dependents. This also includes retired military dental insurance plans.
VADIP plans provide similar benefits and are available to Veterans enrolled in VA Healthcare. Spouses or dependents of Veterans may also be eligible for VADIP coverage. Additionally, individuals who are eligible for CHAMPVA may also qualify for VADIP plans.
Please see policy for a complete description of plan benefits, limitations and exclusions.
Eligible federal employees, annuitants, military retirees and their families, and Veterans should consider a variety of factors when selecting benefits:
In-Network Services: Check if your preferred dental providers are within the plan’s network to ensure you receive the best rates and avoid out-of-network fees.
Coverage Options: Evaluate the range of services covered, including preventive care, basic procedures, major treatments, and orthodontics.
Family and Dependent Needs: Consider the dental care needs of your family and dependents to make sure the plan you choose provides the right coverage for everyone.
Cost Considerations: Compare premiums, copayments, and deductibles to find a plan that fits your financial situation.
Plan Benefits: Look for additional advantages such as coverage for family members and customer service support.
Digital and Self-Service Tools: Look for plans that offer digital resources like member portals and other self-service tools. Delta Dental’s expertise and convenient self-service features make it easy to manage your benefits and find the support you need.
Flexibility: Ensure the plan offers flexibility in choosing providers and accessing services that meet your specific needs.
